Tweens and Teens

continued provision after learn to swim

Swim Club

For tweens and teens who are strong swimmers (or have reached Shark level in learn to swim) but don’t necessarily want to join a competitive club.

We want to encourage older swimmers to continue their love of the water. This is a fun, busy session focusing on swimming for fitness and learning new skills.

As well as working towards the STA’s advance swimmer series – bronze, silver, gold and platinum awards. We will also look at other water skills such as water safety, distance awards and pool snorkelling.

£11.50 per swimmer.

Lessons are 1 hour.

Each course must be booked and paid for in advance.

Junior Lifesaving

The fun-packed programme offers something for everyone; from lifeguarding skills and first aid, to boogie boarding, ocean awareness, distance, sports skills and health and wellbeing.

  • Knowledge is reinforced through fun games

  • Many of the skills do not have to be completed in a swimming pool and can be done at home, club, school or even online.

Swimmers must be able to swim 50m continuously in order to join this programme.
